Setup Process
5 Simple Steps
Follow these steps to get your DigiPlanter up and running. The entire process takes about 5 minutes.

Download the App
Start by downloading the free DigiPlanter app from the App Store or Google Play. Create your account using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. The onboarding flow walks you through your first device setup with clear, step-by-step instructions. No technical knowledge required.

Scan the QR Code
Each DigiPlanter device comes with a unique QR code printed on the base. Open the app, tap "Add Device," and point your camera at the QR code. This initiates a secure Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) pairing between your phone and the ESP32 microcontroller inside your planter. The entire pairing process takes less than 10 seconds.

Connect to WiFi
Once paired via Bluetooth, the app prompts you to select your WiFi network. Enter your password and the credentials are securely transmitted to the ESP32 over the encrypted BLE channel. Your DigiPlanter connects to the cloud and begins syncing sensor data in real-time. The device supports 2.4 GHz WiFi with automatic reconnection if the network drops.

Select Your Plant
Browse our database of 100+ plant species or use AI-powered search to find yours. Each plant profile includes optimal moisture, temperature, humidity, and light ranges. DigiPlanter automatically configures watering schedules, light cycles, and ventilation thresholds based on your selection. You can also create custom profiles for rare or experimental species.

Start Growing
That's it — your DigiPlanter is live. Sensors begin monitoring soil moisture, temperature, humidity, light, and water level. The automated irrigation, grow lights, and ventilation systems activate based on your plant's needs. Open the app anytime to check real-time data, adjust settings, or ask the AI assistant for care recommendations. Welcome to smart gardening.
